Getting going with DocTo

There are four stages to using DocTo

1. Download the DocTo installation file
2. Install the DocTo toolbar
3. Run DocTo for a trial period
4. Buy a full licence

Step 1 of 4 - Download

To download, fill in the request form with your name and email address, and you will receive an email which will enable you to run DocTo for a trial period.

The email will contain the DocTo toolbar, together with all the information you need to install and run DocTo, a set of demonstration documents, and a detailed explanation of the DocTo capabilities.

Step 2 of 4 - Install

1. Save the file which you receive in your download email.
2. Unzip the download file into a folder for DocTo. 
3. Open Microsoft Word and use Toolbar/Options/FileLocations/Startup to identify the folder where the DocTo.dot toolbar file must be installed, then close Word
4. Copy the DocTo.dot toolbar file from the folder which you unzipped it to in step 2 to the folder you identified in step 3
5. Restart Microsoft Word
6. Locate the DocTo toolbar and click on the DocTo button
7. Complete the DocTo registration details using the information supplied in the download email, which will including a product key for the trial period.

Step 3 of 4 - Trial

You can run DocTo for a trial period to explore its capabilities.  You can develop DocTo templates to produce documents tailored to your own specific requirements.

At the end of the trial period DocTo will continue to run, but with restricted functions.

Step 4 of 4 - Buy a full licence

You can buy a full licence at any time before, during of after a trial period.

The licence fee is £25.00 for an individual licence for use on a single computer, or £300 for a corporate licence for use on up to 10 computers.
