Outlook Contact items, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and user dialogs.

DocTo is ideal for small businesses, professionals, and individuals. It can help you to deliver good looking documents quickly, consistently, and effectively.
DocTo is particularly useful for producing documents with the personalisation relevant to you, your organisation, or your clients and customers. DocTo can apply your chosen personalisation throughout the documents you create - including text, headers, footers, comments, and document properties.
Some examples of use: produce a cover letter for a report to be sent to a client, together with the key parts of the report - cover, contents, appendix - in your chosen style combining your details along with client's, and finally an invoice to accompany the letter and report - using DocTo each time. DocTo is smart - but not smart enough to write the body of the report - you'll have to do that yourself.
DocTo uses a single button on the toolbar in Word or Outlook to produce tailored documents by combining Word document templates, Outlook contact items, other Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and end user personalisation details supplied through a simple dialog.
DocTo uses standard Word templates to which you add simple instructions to control how data for the document is collected, validate, presented and stored.
DocTo is simple to install, and can be configured with your options and preferences. As an optional extra, the product can be customised very cost effectively to meet the specific requirements of your organisation.
DocTo works with Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Outlook 2002, Microsoft Outlook 2003, Microsoft Office 2002, Microsoft Office 2003.

You can control how DocTo responds to invalid data - you decide whether to use the data as it is, ask for it again, or stop processing.
DocTo can also set the Word document properties according to values which you define in the template in use.
DocTo is available for use by completing a simple form which will email you everything you need to run for a trial period without any payment.
You can order the full individual licence for use on a single computer for a one off charge of £25.00. Business users can order a corporate licence for use on up to 10 computers for an initial charge of £300.00 and an optional annual maintenance fee of £30.00.
